Sleeping arrangements: Do they push the beds together? Who takes all of the blankets in bed? Who’s practically draped over the others? + sara amaya kendra zari

• Do they push the beds together?Big yes. I think you can probably fit all 4 of them very uncomfortably on 1 bed, they’re all fairly small, but like there’s no reason NOT to push 2 beds together and make enough room for everyone. They all end up kind of piled on each other anyway but it’s the principle of having 2 beds that really matters.

once they went to a summer camp for... reasons.... and instead of just sharing 4 twin sized beds like normal people they shoved 2 to each bed on the bottom and top bunk like fucking morons

• Who takes all of the blankets in bed? SARA LANCE, BLANKET HOG, is the BANE of the polycule’s sleeping existence, because sara wants to be in the MIDDLE where there is the Most Love and she also wants all of the blankets because she gets cold easily. They’ve amended that by having her curl up with Kendra or Amaya if amaya takes on the totem of a bear so that she’s always warm, it does kind of make it hard for everyone else to sleep if amaya’s on bear radiator mode, though, so really what they’ve just been doing is fabricating more and more blankets and now it’s like 10% bed 10% girls 80% blankets with sara having a good 80% of that 80% of blankets

• who’s practically draped over the others?kendra. kendra likes to be handled when she’s sleeping, don’t ask why, but it means she’s always moving around for Maximum Contact, which means she’s usually got a leg over Sara’s leg and is laying half-under Sara and Amaya and has her hand in Zari’s hair or something. Also, Zari when she’s really tired has the innate ability to just fall into the girl pile and pass tf out, and if she’s that tired then the rest of them are probably also that tired, so who’s on top of the others usually just comes down to who passes out last.

Ooh, how about all the Legends in a College Professors AU. Mick is an English professor who specializes in Creative Writing. Amaya is either Social Work or Psychology. Nate and Kendra are History. Jax and Wally are Engineering and may or may not be dating, nobody knows for sure. Sara is PE and part-time administration, somehow. Zari and Gideon are in Computer Science. Ray, Lily, and Martin are in Physics. Rip is in administration with Ava, and I can't decide what to do with Len, Carter, or Gary.

Mick- yeah, I think I can see as a teacher in the English department. Teaches a creative writing class and also probably one of those classes that studies fanfic (which i am so bitter that i can never take because of how my schedule panned out).

Amaya- I never considered Psych but that could be good. I was thinking of her in the Zoology department. 

Nate and Kendra are definitely in the history department. Nate is in American History, Kendra specializes in Egyptian and Middle Eastern history.

Jax and Wally are masters students in Engineering (Wally is aerospace, Jax is mechanical). They’ve been roommates since undergrad, and yes, they are dating/gonna date.

Sara- I can see her in the School of Public Health or as an instructor in International Studies.

Gideon is definitely Computer Sciences. Zari would probably be in the Media school though.

Martin, Ray, and Lily are all in the Physics department. Ray and Lily are balls of sunshine and happiness and their students love their classes so much because they’re such good human beings. Martin is often visited by Jax and Wally because the boys know him from an undergrad class.

Ava is 100% in Administration, and I would say Gary in there too.

Rip….Rip is hard. I want to say he’s in Law or International Studies.

Leonard is an Art History professor. Pry this from my cold dead hands.

Carter teaches in the Business School.

I don’t have anyone in the Education Department and I can’t believe I have no one there. I hang my head in shame unless someone’s got an alternative suggestion. (Although I could toss in Jefferson Pierce for a professor there)

You took a good look at your father. Malcolm Merlyn, the Dark Archer. Enemy of the Green Arrow and his team. Enemy to the Legends. Enemy to the people you grew so close to. Your weird, dysfunctional family of amazing misfits.

Malcolm sighed and reached out, holding your hand and looking you in the eyes desperately. “…this Spear will make everything right. We can be a family, a proper one.” The Dark Archer took a breath and continued. “I…I just need you to join us. Join me. I need your help to make everything right. All my mistakes, everything. Please? For me?”

“I…,” you shook your head a little, thinking back to every moment you spent with the Legends, “I’m sorry dad, but I-I can’t. You always be my dad. To Everyone Who Has Ever Complained About the ‘Overrepresentation’ of LGBTQ+ Characters in the Arrowverse:

Here’s all the main characters Arrow has ever had: Oliver, Laurel E1, Laurel E2, Tommy, Diggle, Thea, Moira, Quentin, Felicity, Roy, Slade, Malcolm, Curtis, Adrian, Rene, Dinah, and Diaz.

One of them is gay out of a total of 17.

Here’s all the main characters Legends has ever had: Martin, Ray, Rip, Sara, Jax, Kendra, Carter, Mick, Leonard, Eobard, Amaya, Gideon, Nate, Zari, Wally, Ava, Constantine, and Nora.

Two are bisexual and one is gay out of a total of 18.

Here’s all the main characters The Flash has ever had: Barry, Iris, Caitlin, Cisco, Eobard, Harrison, Joe, Cecile, Wally, Julian, DeVoe, Ralph, Nora, and Cicada.

As of now, none have been LGBTQ+.

Here’s all the main characters Supergirl has ever had: Kara, James, Alex, Winn, J’onn, Cat, Mon-El, Maggie, Lena, Reign, Braniac 5, Agent Liberty, Dreamer, Nia.

Two are gay and one is transgender out of 13.

The greater majority of LGBTQ+ characters we’ve had have been only recurring or guest characters: Nyssa, Nick Anastas, William, Emily, Guinevere, Digsy Foss, Gary, Paul, Rob, Singh, Ray Terrill, Lindsay, Queen Anne, and E-X Snart.

All of these characters have only had extremely short lived onscreen relationships/no actual onscreen relationships (Nyssa, Paul, William, Emily, Gary) or had very little significant screen time in general (Nick, Lindsay, Guinevere, Anne, Singh, Rob) or were from another universe who showed up for 5 minutes in one single episode (Digsy, Ray Terrill, E-X Snart).

So here’s the total number of main, recurring, and significant guest characters we’ve had on all four shows: 195

So roughly 10% of all characters have been LGBTQ+. That’s about equal to the percentage of LGBTQ+ people in the world population. Saying there’s “too many” LGBTQ+ characters in these shows is just pathetic.

Representation is so so so important. I know it has helped me be comfortable with my sexuality, and I’m sure it’s helped many more.

(Just to add some context to this post, after William being revealed as gay on Arrow, a lot of people on some other sites have been complaining about the Arrowverse being “too gay”. It’s not. In fact, I give the CW a lot of credit for having this many LGBTQ+ characters.)

Other than Ray? Amaya. She really was the core of the team and I miss her a lot.

I would love if Ralph joined the Legends. Not with Sue, but just by himself. I think he’s wasted on Flash and could really thrive with the Legends.

sara and zari!! i adore that friendship and have endless headcanons about it - especially right at the start when they were both starting to realise how similar their stories were and how well they would get along. also those laurel/behrad parallels were perfection okay

amaya. also wally and jax and kendra but amaya was the heart of the show in seasons two and three and she brought the calm that everyone needed and always looked out for them all. but that said, i love how they wrapped her storyline up and i hope she's happy in her little village raising kids and being everyone's favourite grandmother
